Home is a Good Place!

As much as we enjoy going somewhere it is ALWAYS good to come HOME!

Louis Dean and I have an agreement - he unloads and I unpack and put up.
It is all done and I even had enough time to add some colored lights to the front porch.
The gazebo and guest room are all that's left to decorate. I have all week!

We were talking about what we were doing this time LAST year and that prompted me to look at my pictures from back then.

Louis Dean and I were talking to Robert last week about how quickly time goes by.
We all three agreed that time seems to go more slowly for the young and it speeds up the older we get.
Time. That's something truly precious.

I was just saying today that I have two more years of work until I can retire and how it seems so long. But it really isn't because the years just whiz by.

Your porch looks so pretty.

I love the picture of the quads. You don't realize how much they've grown in a year until you look back.

And when you prepared so beautifully in advance for homecoming, it must provide extra joy. My! Were they that small just last year?!

Linda, I love that photo from last year...you are all so cute. That's right about how time seems to almost crawl when we were young and it goes way too fast for us once we retire. I think that's when my life grew wing. I love life and want to grasp every biy of joy I can get. I think you and LD feel that way also. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

You are so right about time going by more quickly the older we get! That can be good when you want something over with, but most of the time I look back and think it was just too fast!
