Peach Cobbler Recipe

I recently picked a BUNCH of peaches and made jam, more jam, and a peach cobbler that was delicious! I basically used my mother's recipe which she has been making all my life.....until her stroke in 2005. I now make it for her as a special treat! I will be making a HUGE peach cobbler to take over and share with my family this Friday! The way I adapted the recipe in order to use the fresh peaches is like this:
Melt some butter in your baking dish and then cover the bottom with sliced peaches. I sprinkled a little sugar on top of them just because! Mix the cobbler recipe and pour over the top. I  top it with brown sugar and some slices of butter.
It turned out delicious!

We ate it hot from the oven but would be even better with a scoop of ice cream or even a dollop of whipped cream! Come on over......I have a bowl waiting for you!

Save a place for me on the gazebo. I will need some decaf coffee, tho! It looks yummy!!!

I love your bio description, I'm with you on all of it too.
I'm trying to copy the cobbler recipe. Is it 1T or 1t baking powder? 3T or 3t butter on the topping? How much butter do you melt in the pan to grease it. Some other recipes call 1 stick of butter. I love seeing the pictures of Faith baking. So sweet. I also have the came recipe card.
Cheers!
