The Cat Came Back!

The Cat....named JULY ...first came to live here on the 4th of July 1992. We were in Cedar Hill for a Fire Works Show and Celebration. A little girl had a basket of baby kitties and asked Amber if she wanted to hold one. Amber was 7 and lost her heart to the smallest Kitty in the lot......and July came home with us!  Well, July lived here until she left with her mistress in 2003....moving along with Snowball, who was added to Amber's menagerie in the summer of 1997 from an apartment in Irving to San Marcos where Amber graduated from Texas State in 2005 to Houston to Katy to a cousin's home in Alabama while Amber and Mike lived for a year in Scotland. The cat was GONE but then the CAT came BACK! July returned here to the home where she grew up in June of this year and is awaiting Amber's return in a few weeks! She is living a cushy life for an elderly cat! July thinks the fluffy pillows are there for HER sake and  the satin spread in HER room is for HER comfort. Happy Birthday, July. I know she was actually born in June but for 18 years she has been the Queen Cat around here! And I think someone is going to be very happy to see her soon!

I know...I am a little late but I have been busy! Just finished all those peaches! Wish you were here to share some toast and jam and a glass of tea! You, too, Robin! We would have a real English tea party!

July is a beautiful tabby cat.

We had a sweet Cocker Spanial, Buffi Anne, who loved to nap in the pillows. In fact the pillows she napped in were like the one's July is enjoying.

SUCH a cute cat! My mom had a cat that lived to be almost 23 years old! She led a life of luxury, too. :-)
