The Desire Accomplished.....

is sweet to the soul!
Every day I love to look at my daily planner - which lives on one of my kitchen counters - and check off SOMETHING on my list!!
I'm doing Louis Dean's bathroom 'piece meal' style. One thing at a time.

I wanted to snap a 'Before Pic'......

And so I did - as Louis Dean snapped one of ME!

First coat - ON!!
It was a relatively cool day here in Texas!
A light rain kept the day nice so the doors were open ....

as was the bathroom window.

After the second coat I turned on the attic fan to aid in drying the paint.

This is how it ended! Louis Dean's clothes are all back in place.
I will add some additional glazes next week!

For now I have accomplished enough for one day!
Louis Dean has his wine and I have my Margarita!
Served in my new glass from my Tuesday trip to the Goodwill!

I want to wish a HAPPY Birthday to my beautiful daughter, Amber!!
AND to my Mother who shared her birthday with Amber and her GREAT grandson, Jacob.
Happy BIRTHDAY to my good friend, Cathy!!

This has been a GOOD day!!

Family projects and family birthdays - well, of course it was a good day. :) Glad you enjoyed it. Blessings to you.

Isn't it something how birthdays all seem to come together? It's that way in my family too. Your paint job in the bathroom is looking good. Piecemeal is good.

I know what a great feeling that is to get something marked off your "to do" list! The cabinet turned out great. White paint can transform anything! Hope you have a great weekend and happy birthday wishes go out to your mom and daughter today.

Checking things off my list is a favorite thing. I could use a cabinet like that myself. Happy Birthday blessings for all. The weather in North Texas has been truly amazing. Loving it.

I love that window in the shower!
The cabinet is looking great and you make a mean Margarita, my friend!
The best of birthday blessings to your loves!

One of my favorite things to do is check something off of my "to-do" list daily. Such an accomplished feeling.
