Good BUYS and Good BYES!

Wednesdays are Senior Citizen Discount Days at the local Goodwill here.
OF COURSE, I MUST go Goodwill Hunting then!
There is usually a treasure to be found and this week was no exception!

I found a couple of what I hope to be good books - plus a journal I can write down all the little day to day things with the quads. I so wish I had started one when I first had grandchildren. I can remember a few of the things Sam said and quite a few of what we call 'Levi-ism's!' but not nearly as much as I could if I had kept a journal!

The chicken will go in the camper and that straw bag?? I will wag that thing EVERYWHERE!!

The silver plated chargers will look elegant on our dining room table. I can see us having a few quiet little dinner parties on our 'visits' back home!

I also picked up some very smart pieces of clothing!

These days I love anything with spandex!

I just LOVE this skirt and can't wait to get it home and create an outfit complete with accessories!

You can tell real 'quality' where ever you find it and under whatever label it bears.
Happy I found THIS great piece!

Now all of the GOOD BUYS I found at GOODWILL were fun!

Not so much the GOOD BYES from these little ones!

Or these two!!

I went back in to see Kailey and Trystan......
they just snuggle closer and closer to each  other.

OKAY!!! I MUST be STRONG! I MUST remember how much I have missed Louis Dean! I MUST get showered and ready for the road!

And I will.......just as soon as I snap a few more pictures to hold me over until I return.
And the NEXT time I come - I am bringing my HOUSE with me!!
Or at least my 'Mini' home!!

Love your skirts, but no spandex for me, as I'm allergic to the stuff! . . .So glad LD will be with you the next time and you'll be bringing your mini home with you. Such fun!! Now you can have your evening wine together again! Babies are growing and are adorable!

I so prefer this white blog look! One vote for it, by me. I know I'm only one Dear Reader here, but I don't mind weighing in with my Hooray For Your New Blog Look vote!!!!

It is so much easier to see. And to read. And to notice your pics. And everything! I love it!!!

Ok, Ok, now to your blog entry. I was just so excited, to see your new blog look, that I went-Ga-Ga. -giggggles-

I can't find a Good Will here but I just heard of a similar place called "Savers". You've inspired me to get my own "hunting" on.

Be safe on the road.

You'll be back before you know it. Those babies...oh those babies. They always look so comfortable and cozy. That takes work so I know that their parents are doing a great job as are you grandparents. Great finds at Good Will. Happy trails and traveling mercies...

I can only imagine how difficult it was to leave those precious babies. I know you don't want to miss a day of being with them! They are so adorable sleeping together like that. The nice thing about multiples is that they will always have each other and be close. I've never heard of any that aren't! Looks like you found some pretty things at Goodwill! Now go help out LD so you can both go back to Amber's full-time! Ha!

You did great at the Goodwill today. Those skirts are so cute and I LOVE that bag! I also love your journal idea. What a great way to preserve sweet memories.

I can't imagine how hard it must have been to say bye to the quads. Who in their right mind would want to leave those sweet babies. I know Louis Dean is probably standing on his head excited to see you though and just think, you will be going back soon :)

Have a safe trip home dear friend!
