A Parade, a Movie and One Fourth of a Deck!!

The alarm went off at 7:00 this morning and Louis Dean and I were rolling out of the driveway at 8:30!!! The quads were in a Transportation Parade today and it started PROMPTLY at 9:15!! NOT 9:20, Amber said!!! It didn't last long but we would not have missed it for the world!

Trystan and her T-Bird!!!!

Kailey and her Minnie Car!

Logan and her Princess Carriage!

Harrison and his Batmobile!!!!
Congratulations to two hard working parents who made all FOUR of their nearly four year olds happy and proud!!! Each car took a lot of work and they were matched to the personality of the 'driver!'

To reward ourselves for getting up and out so EARLY, we went for breakfast at Mama's Daughter!
Amber and I wanted to run an errand so Louis Dean went on over to Quadville to wait for us.
Well, first of all, we got to talking and before we knew it we had driven to Frisco!!! Amber U-turned us around and then we got to talking again - this time about a movie we were both wanting to see - and so once again - she U-turned us BACK around!!!

A totally impromptu movie date!!!
I called Louis Dean to let him know we had a change of plans but he had left his phone at home!
No worries. He got to watch the news and rest and he knew we would be home sooner or later!!
I love that about him!!!

We came home and I went to bed.
Louis Dean went to work!

He started the gazebo deck while I was resting.
Somehow I find the sound of hammering and the sawing of fresh pine relaxing!!!

Mother finds our life interesting!!
Always something to watch!

He would not stop until he had a quarter of the deck down!!!!
We ate Frito Pie for an easy dinner out here on the side deck where I am still sitting now.
I think LD crashed and burned!!!
He soaked in a hot tub and I think he barely made it to the bed!
He says that hot water takes all the starch out of him!!
I'm crying Uncle, too, and only Mother will be staying up watching TV tonight!!!

Those Quad cars are amazing. Can only image how impressed other parents and teachers were with this couple making four to their one. Amber and Mike are amazing parents. Think the gazebo will go up next week? Then the fun will begin to see how you decorate it.

What fun! LD is such a hard working man. You'll have that gazebo up in no time!

I'll bet that gazebo will be up in less than a week. That LD is a worker! How cute those little cars are. The little drivers are pretty cute too. Glad you got to spend some time with Amber.

lInda, I think Amber and Mike did a fabulous job on the kids' cars. They looked so cute with them too. Great pictures of you and LD. I knew LD would be working that deck. LOL. Sounds like you need a day of rest. Blessings to all, xoxo, love, Susie

The little vehicles look so much fun, I am sure the quads will go on playing with them all summer. Looking forward to seeing the gazebo in place. Louis Dean doesn't let the grass grow, you are both such hard workers X
