Palm Sunday and I was up early enough to watch the 9:30 service online from Fellowship church after which we dressed and got things ready to drive to son Jesse's to spend the afternoon.
But first I picked a bouquet of roses and honeysuckle from my gardens for Rachel.
Jesse and Rachel working together in their kitchen!
She has taught my son to make pico de gallo...
Delicious!!!!
Rachel makes her own refried beans!
Homemade Spanish rice.
Yummy guacamole!
Pulled pork for street tacos.
I'm taking notes so I can cook these things myself!
This is my favorite pic of the day!
Meet Simpson, Rachel's super fancy cat!
Sam came over with his girlfriend, Reba, and brought his dogs.
This is Angel and she was just a baby when I first met her one Christmas Eve ten or more years ago.
Sam also brought Max who is about four years old.
Can you see Simpson back there?
Rachel loves all critters and welcomed Angel and Max like old friends.
They immediately fell in love with her and made themselves at home!
It was a great afternoon and I loved every single minute!
Jesse updated our laptops for us.
He is such a blessing to us and has the patience of Job!
I am in love with their Forever Home!
They have already done so much and the ambiance is so warm and invited.
You just feel good to be there.
Thank you, Jesse and Rachel, for your wonderful hospitality and the delicious food!
Already looking forward to our next visit!
My blog posting spot tonight!
Chapter 13 is ready for me to post tomorrow and I will try to get that done before noon.
Wishing you all a wonderful Holy Week from Palm Sunday to Resurrection Day!

Your Sunday sounds so delightful Linda. there is nothing like family, good food and critter cuddles all around.
I love when our son Steve helps us with our computer stuff and know how you feel when Jesse helps you.
Oh my all that food is making me hungry. Pico de Gallo is one of my favorite flavors for salsa. Yummm
Yes, you are right. Its not about the bunny but about the Lamb.
