A Glorious Saturday!!!

August 17 and the high temp was 91 degrees (which happened later in the day)!!! Nearly unhear of! I turned OFF the A/C and flung open the French doors to the fresh air and the sounds of bird song and the 70+ degree temps of this awesome morning! Louis Dean and I carried our coffee out to the gazebo to enjoy this glorious weather!

We had a productive day! I cleaned house and Louis Dean worked on the sewer line to the camper.
We are under a bit of time constraint as MiMi Camp 2013 starts at 9:00 Monday morning!

Then we headed to the camper to spruce it up!

We took a little break for a sit on the driveway with our wine.

This is where I will be playing games with the older grands and having our meals.

It felt good to go BACK to our camper days which started last August when we hauled the RV  down to Katy and lived in it for the next 7 months!

I still have some work to do to get it 'Camper Ready!'

The living area is pretty much done and the girl and boy bunks are good to go.
Faith will have the 'Girl' bunk and Sam will sleep in the upper 'Boy' bunk.
Levi will sleep on the couch......
the only problem is.....
when we were sprucing up we also discovered the LEAK in the master bedroom  (where I will sleep!) and it is sopping WET!!!
We had trouble with this last year and I hope we will finally figure out the solution....soon!
LD plans to put the mattress out in the sun tomorrow to dry it out.
I need to sleep on this come Monday night!

After I snapped this pic as we came in from the camper Louis Dean fixed up some fried ham and cheese sandwiches while I colored my hair. I have no earthly idea how much GRAY I have since I color it every so often!

Once again it's a late night for me. LD has been in bed for an hour or so. I have rinsed out the color and applied the conditioner. Now it's time to shower and go to BED! It has been a wonderful Saturday and I have enjoyed every minute of it! NOW, it is officially Sunday and I am trusting that it will be every bit as good as today!

So fun to see that darling camper that you made a home for all those months! The grands must be excited about it!

I have zero doubt about your ability to create another beautiful day! Have a fun Sunday.

May that mattress dry out soon!

It must seem strange but familiar to be back in your camper. I know the grands will have lots of fun using it for Mimi Camp. What a great idea.

I see some of your fall is creeping in. Me too.

Glad you had such a nice day. 91* seems HOT to me. It got up to the 80s here and low humidity. A beautiful day.

I had to laugh when you said that 91 felt cool! When it's 91 here, it is miserable. We've been having unusually cooler temps here lately. It has been in the 60's and 70's. I actually wore long sleeves yesterday. It is short lived though. Next week it will be back in the 80's. Glad that you were feeling some relief with the 91 degree temps. You must usually have triple digits where you live. TX is HOT!! Hope you're having a good Sunday too. I bet the kids are looking forward to Mimi camp as much as you are!

hi Linda, I really like your camper, it has so much personality. How dare it to leak in your bedroom! You asked about the Only the Lonely plant, it does smell heavenly. Tobacco grows best in hot weather and it is a tobacco strain so try it again.
