A Quilt Top in a Day!

What a wild Saturday this has been! We now have cable TV and Internet!
Internet on all FOUR computers!! And it's NOT Hot Spot!! I had not used my desk top in MONTHS!!
Louis Dean is thrilled to be back on You Tube without draining his Hot Spot in no time!!
We have not learned yet to do more than turn TV off and on and change channels.......and PAUSE!!!! LOVE that DVR!!! This company is WAY different than the one we had previously. Louis Dean is happy because he gets Fox News and CNBC. I get USA and TNT!
 We BOTH win!

Unexpected plumbing problems complicated our day somewhat! All I have to say is I am SO grateful Louis Dean is a HANDY man!! We have limited use tonight but that is better than NONE!
While Larry the Cable Man was here - YES!! His name was really LARRY!!! - I busied myself OUTSIDE in the gazebo designing the quilt for Logan. Since the sewing room is steps away I would sew a strip and take it back to the gazebo to lay it out and look at it.

By late afternoon I had sewn the entire top!

I wondered about the flowers - if it was a little TOO much?

After posting a pic on Facebook and hearing the feedback from my friends -
I am ready to sew them on! Tomorrow! Then I need to decide on the backing and binding.
ONE more after this! I think I'll make it by their one year birthday party date!

For now I am done for the day!
We are ready to kick back, enjoy our glass of wine and watch a rerun of Suits in a little while.
I doubt I have seen it since we have been without cable!
But I DO love a good Suits episode - even if it's just for that awesome MUSIC!

So here's where we are spending the rest of this Saturday night!
I have missed Gibbs!

From OUR house to YOURS!
Happy Weekend!!

The quilt is so sweet - I hope you'll post a photo of all of them together when you're done.
I love our cable and internet - can't imagine life without them.

Ohhhh soooo glad you have full tv hookup again. We are in the 4 last explosive episodes of NCIS, for this season!

Please, find the 1st and 2nd episodes (of the final 4), on the Net, and watch them! Then enjoy the 3rd episode new, this tues. and then the 4th. Looks like BIG stuff.

Big stuff has already happened and you need to see those 2 episodes, to fully appreciate the big stuff which is still coming.

NCIS rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And what amazing quilts you make!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the flowers. That is going to be a beautiful quilt. My grandma used to sew us all blankets for Christmas. I still have the last one she made me. She has now passed and it's priceless to me.

Sorry about the plumbing problems. Your right though, limited is much better than NONE!!!!

Hope you and Louis Dean have had a nice weekend. Tomorrow starts a new week and I hope it's full of blessings for the both of you :)

You've put me to shame with putting quilts together.
An here the babies are celebrating the big 1st birthday and they don't have a long over due quilt from me. 5 more years before I can retire. Working gets in the way of my fun stuff. LOL but it pays the bills.
