Tuesday Treasures....

I am loving my morning 'rituals' or routines.....
I normally get up before Louis Dean and I use the hour or two of alone time to sip my coffee and walk out in the gardens to see what's booming. My Quiet Time with the Lord includes prayers and praise - for all His blessings and the gifts of nature he gives us as well the comfort of reading in His Word. The 'green' of spring is amazing and every day - something else is blooming in the gardens. I treasure these moments. They give me strength for the day ahead - being to Louis Dean the best wife I can be and trying to live my life as closely to the Lord as possible. I fail so often and yet He is faithful to give me the where with all to keep on keeping on.

I gather a morning bouquet each day and sometimes it's simply ground cover or bush branches.
Today was daffodils, roses of several varieties, mint and other blooms.
I place my bouquets and light my candle before proceeding with my reading and prayers.

Louis Dean slept much later than I did and I was ready to meet Brenda on our Tuesday Treasure day when he woke up!

I left him to his own devices - since it's fairly safe to do this at this point in time.
I go where I can whenever I can while realizing that will not be possible at some point.

You find joy where and when you find it and when I can't go alone - I'll simply take Louis Dean with me!

Brenda and I both admired this pretty wreath but I bought it!
The French canvas is now on my hall wall.

Brenda found this Chico Travelers set for me.....

AND this super cute Chico's top!

I'm a sucker for Chico's!

I loved the fabric of this tablecloth......

And I'm always a sucker for signage!

And candles!!

Sweet honey treasures.....

These glass storage containers were a good bargain!
That's all Amber uses now and we admit how much healthier they are in reheating things!

This saying is now hanging in the hall.....
and it is so true.....

Never underestimate the Power of Gratitude!

I cannot believe all these signs you got! Well, I guess that's Texas for you. I never find even one sign, and have to buy them at T.J. Maxx. Why didn't you put the French print in your bedroom among the other French themed things? One would never find something like that here either. I think if I ever visited Texas, I would only go to all the thrift stores and nowhere else!

still smiling at Ginny's comment about her visit to TX and hitting all the thrift stores. you would make great shopping buddies.

I LIKe the glass containers also, the thing is there lids wear out and will not stay closed. of course i have no idea how long I have had them and how many times they have been opened and closed. might be time for new one.

I have zero alone time each day and that is an important start to the day..

Your life is Blessed.
I really love how you approach each day..with an open heart that I see the Lord fills with Joy.
I also really appreciate how you are adjusting to the new stages coming in yours and Louis Dean's lives.
You have been blessed to be a blessing.

love all these pictures, Linda, and always love seeing what you find at the thrift stores, because I love to do that too! Loved your Easter pictures too, everybody looked so nice and your hair-do looked so pretty that day! Hope y'all are having a real good week. We sure are staying busy with the animals and the gardens and all. Lots of work, but we love it

Linda, So good to know you and your pal Brenda are having fun. I have not been junking in so long. I like the nice signs you bought. I still love to look at what you girls find.
I know that old adage, " One man's trash is another's treasure" Well my neighbor has made me rethink that...It's now one man's trash is Jim 's trash too. I know he recycles cash it in metal scraps. But I have lived here 3 years now and he still has some of his original junk. OMG, I told him I was going to paint it all green so it looks like bushes and not trash LOL. My sweet home town is looking seedy and sad at times. Take care of your sweetheart and him you. Blessings, xoxo, love you guys, Susie
