All in a Day's Work

These days - weekdays at least! - I go to bed as early as 9:30- 10:00 and get up before 7:00 am! NOT the schedule Louis Dean and I had back home.
I believe I'm getting the hang of it, though!
I pack my Day Bag of tea, needlework and slippers, grab my laptop and I'm good to go!

But I can't leave until we have sat out with our coffee and books first!
I admit I am not a morning person but the earlier hours are so peaceful and calm.

Louis Dean is usually up first. Can you see his LEGS???
He has NEVER worn shorts and says he never WILL!!
This is his swim suit and he has discovered how comfortable it is!

This is the view of our 'neighborhood.'
There is even a little group of children who walk down to the office every morning to catch the school bus.

I love my 'work' days!
They are spent holding precious babies!

Louis Dean puts in his share of Baby Care hours.....and is loving every minute of it!

Now it's Friday evening and we are about to go out for Mexican food!
Our life has sure changed a lot from this time last year.....
but I am LOVING it!!!

Happy Weekend, Folks!!!

It is such a blessing for you to be able to help out with the babies. Your family is going to have so much fun over the years with these little ones. :)

I certainly hope that LD reconsiders the entire short thing with legs that look that great! (John won't wear shorts either.) You'll have to invest in some more swimming trunks. They have got to be more comfortable than long pants in the hot weather.

You're perfectly describing our hours here. One does get used to it. I'm sure that it's easier to get used to when you have such a worthy goal...helping with the cutest quads on earth.

It's good to have a routine. Sounds like you have found the perfect one for you and LD. I love the place you are living. It's a little community unto itself. Those babies are growing so quickly!

Oh my gosh....I hope to read someday that you have changed your style and LOVE mornings. I was, long ago, a night person staying up to the wee hours, then being married to Bud for several years, who by the way is a morning person, kept telling me "you don't know what you're missing" ---he's right all along. Mornings, quiet, peaceful mornings are the best time of day.

These little ones are sooooooo so very precious. I am enjoying all your lovely photos and hope to have you continue as they grow along with you and your family.

And by the way....yes shorts are too comfortable to worry about legs showing!! hehehehe
