September is Gone but I'm Going to Love the Other Three 'BER' Months!!

Brenda and I had a good time doing our Tuesday Treasures!

We shopped three thrift stores.....

I fell in love with this rustic western shirt!

Brenda has an eye for green and she spotted this!
It fits me perfectly and will be great for winter hockey games!

A new spring wreath for next year....

Love me some bargain earrings!

The Paris books are actually drawers which will hold my pierced earrings.
I've ordered AA batteries for the fairy lights!

For my bedroom....

After I took all my photos, Ilene joined us for Happy Hour on the driveway!

A fancy low alcohol cocktail to go with a tray of snacks.

Once the sun goes down, the evening is really pleasant with temps in the low 80's.
We are still waiting for fall.

Louis Dean peeled potatoes for the soup recipe that Jennifer the librarian gave me.

Louis Dean and I got the mirror up on Wednesday and it wasn't easy!

Oh, I absolutely love it!!

Louis Dean was creative in getting it on the wall with the main weight of it sitting on the chest.
The cleaning, decorating, purging and organizing continues in the bedroom!

The mornings are nearly fall like - but not quite!
Still, I love my mornings on the kitchen deck.

Shirley came for lunch and art class this afternoon.
The potato soup turned out to be delicious!

We both can lose ourselves in art and are able to block out all other thoughts and concerns.

Next week we will finish up our Santas!
This is the one I am keeping as it has some damage on the lower edge but the heavy texture makes it look like it's on purpose.

Santa #2

Santa #3

Santa #4
I was tired by the time I got to this one but will work on it some before next art class.

Shirley's amazing Santa!!

Our sweet neighbors across the street sent dinner over for us tonight and it was so good!
Life is good and I am grateful!

Your thrift finds are some of the best ever! And the mirror is beautiful! Of course I knew it would be, as it was painted by an artist.
