Since I started my last journal entry with the wonky Bell Christmas tree ....
I thought I would show the transformation once Amber decorated it!
I love the red ribbon bows!
She orders family ornaments every year!
Saturday all four Bells were on the ice at the same time!
It was a siblings/parents hockey game and they had so much fun!!!
I wish I could have been there so I appreciate seeing Amber's photos!
We have been anticipating Christmas Eve.....
At long last - our home is all decorated and clean!
I love when I sit in my corner chair in the living room and the only light on is the Christmas tree.
It's a perfect time to pause and reflect and to pray and thank God for all His many blessings.
The dining room is all set up for Christmas Eve.
Sewing room tree and this is where I put all the sweets/deserts for Christmas Eve.
I light candles every single day and love looking at the flickering glow as I pray and give thanks to God for the beautiful life He has gifted me.
The living room is such a peaceful room and this is where I have my prayers and quiet time on these winter days.
For some reason the glow and fragrance of candles soothes my soul.
The laundry room has its own tree and ambiance.
Saturday's supper was a really good salad and a nice glass of wine.
It was an early to bed night since I wanted to be on time at the Fellowship Church Christmas service!
I arrived early enough to meet up with Brenda and Billy as they were serving in Hospitality.
I used to serve there, too! I was a 'Bagel Lady' back in 2003 - 2005 when I was single.
I will be serving again someday but for now I am grateful to be able to attend services.
Louis Dean loves Fellowship Church but he can not handle the crowds and the lights and does best when we watch Fellowship Live on You Tube.
I am going to attend in person as often as possible as I realize in the future I will need to stay at home with Louis Dean.
It's so special to be with the Bells to worship together....
We love our church!
The candle light closing was so beautiful.
Earlier in the service - there was an opportunity to light a candle in remembrance of loved ones no longer with us....
So I was blessed to light a candle for Nita.
I think of her every single day and I know where she is and I know she knows where I am.
Our fridge is full to overflowing!
A friend sent rhis sweet pic!
I'm closimg tonight's journal entry with this Western Santa which my stepson, Dean sent me!
Possible Santa for next year!!!

Amber's tree is gorgeous, and the red bows really make the entire tree. Your home is so beautiful with all the lights and coziness. I wish you an awesome Christmas eve and day!!
Happy and Blessed Christmas to you and your dear ones!!
Beautiful tree! What a transformation once Amber took over! Wishing you and LD a blessed and peaceful Christmas! Judy @ My Front Porch
Amber's tree is absolutely beautiful. I did red bows all over my tree years ago and for some reason I stopped it.
Merry Christmas.
Happy Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas!
Linda, we send our Best Wishes to you and Louis Dean and your family for a very wonderful 🌲Christmas and all the best in the New Year. Your holiday decorations look so festive and it made me happy just to see the trees lit and decorated. My blog post today includes a photo that has the Nativity Santa card you sent a few years ago. I always display it with our Nativity and this year gave a shout-out to the talented artist -- YOU.
Linda, Oh our babies...so grown . I laughed when I saw the fridge. How do you even know what in there. LOL Yes, your sweetheart is a handsome man. Hold him tight every day. I can believe sitting in a room in Christmas decor and candles is very peaceful. I always enjoy your photos. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Blessed with love and good health. Love all of you, xoxo, Susie
