Saturday Stuff!

This has been such a good Saturday!! From the first sip of coffee sitting in front of the fireplace with our Bible, books and Country Diary to the first sip of wine this evening as we celebrate the day - it has been wonderful!!

Two little girls live next door to us along with their parents and two dogs.
Anjelina made a craft at church Wednesday night and has been waiting to catch me at home ever since.
Our big camper sits on the driveway between our houses. We have known these girls all their lives!

The card says: "You will always be my #1 neighbor."

She made the leaf stamp and gifted me with this pretty photo of her!

My favorite part of the card! Two jewels representing us.
Two little girls are two more reasons for me to bake some chocolate chip cookies Monday!

Another kindness! Dee (my niece's MIL) sent these place mats for the quads which I will take over to them tomorrow! How thoughtful! She's just that kind of person!

Louis Dean paced himself but he DID get that new microwave HUNG on the wall!!!
NOT an easy feat!
Notice the wooden T he built to hold it up while he worked?
Louis Dean's mind works in physics! How things work!
I thought it was a genius idea!
Better than us trying to hold that HEAVY thing UP!

Lo and behold!!! The oven is in place and so is the microwave!
Louis Dean is boiling some eggs right this minute so we can make a big garden salad for our supper tonight.
A salad, some wine, a fresh fire burning in the fireplace, a football game on TV for him and a good book for me......sounds like a perfect Saturday night!

That would be a perfect Saturday. Your little neighbor girls are darling, and their gifts and cards so personal. I'm sure they love your chocolate chip cookies. I have to get baking tomorrow as our Ladies Craft Night at Church are having a Boutique and Bake Sale.
