I'm really tired tonight and do not the emotional energy to even open up the next chapter to do any editing on it.
Instead I am laying the palette to paint this sunset photo of the duck pond which Dean took last week.
I've been staying busy keeping up with Louis Dean that I have put my art on the backburner.
It's already nearly 11:00 as I write but I intend to at least start on this painting.
I put a western movie from YouTube on for Louis Dean to watch.
This evening I gave him a good haircut, fixed a nice supper and watched a little TV with him.
But now I am going to the art table and do what I love to do.
I'll take trash out before I go to bed.
Best to do that under cloak of darkness!

Nice to relax at the end of the day with what you love and are so good at!
It's always good to get a little time each day to do what makes you happy.
I totally understand Linda. My needlework is my sanity.lol I saw a tee shirt the other day that said, I cross stitch because stabbing people is very wrong.:) I showed it to my Margaret and she said, Nana do you really want to stab people? I said no not really but there are a few I would like to slap up the side of the head.:))))
Life moves on, does it not? Can't wait to see the sunset painting once you are finished.
Good for you! Routines and I have to can just be set aside sometimes and it refreshes the soul.
The sunset picture is going to be a masterpiece and perfect therapy for you. I'm glad you are trying to take a bit of time for yourself. Its so important. Louis Dean thrives on your sweet care for him but you need some "me" time too.
Love you and hope you get some rest and can enjoy the Ranch when you go there.

You definitely need you art time! Good for the soul. :)
Linda ,
what a beautiful picture. I can’t wait to see the results of your painting. It’s best to get that trash out in a sneaky manner. Lol I’ve had friends who have to hide trash from family members by putting it on the neighbors trash so they wouldn’t bring it back in the house. Clever woman you are . It’s 91 here in New Jersey and it’s been horribly hot for weeks. I think our weather is being manipulated by nefarious people. ❤️. Sharon k
