It's Sunday morning and we are getting ready to go home.
It's been such a wonderful week!
We have relaxed and our spirits have been restored and we're ready to pick up and do life.
We have enjoyed our meals and our surroundings.
I picked a bouquet of sunflowers and this one is a twin!
Two blooms on one stem.
The horsemint is beautiful!
I went down to see the baby ducks and gave them some fresh water yesterday.
Always something happening in the country.
I toss out our table scraps and the ducks come down and gobble them up.
Saturday night supper!
I grilled these seasoned chiken skewers from Aldi and they were so good!
LD loves fresh corn!
Other than my roses, the only thing that's growing for me down here is rosemary.
I brought mint from home and potted it. Louis Dean placed the pot where the bottom would touch the pond water. We will see if that will grow. At home nothing kills mint!
I have been enjoying the Bells' Hawaiian family vacation!
Such a beautiful couple - inside and out!!
Happy Birthday to Harrison, Trystan, Logan and Kailey!
They are teenagers now!!!!
I am so proud of all of them!
Mike and Amber are the best parents I've ever met!
What a huge blessing this precious family is to me and so many!
Aloha from Hawaii
Words of wisdom for all of us!

I can't believe the kids are 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a pretty family picture.
I like corn, but I have to cut it off the cob to eat it - hate it in my teeth.
Have a safe trip home. Glad you had a good time there.
The communication tips are SO good!!! And I love your sunflower tablecloth! The bells' are 13 now, wow!! I remember when they were toddlers!!
forgot to say...Horsemint!!!! I have never seen or heard of it, it is gorgeous!!! Is it edible? I am going to Google it.
The leaves make herbal tea.
Well that was a quick week. Glad you enjoyed it. Love the family photo.
Those vegies with the rosemary on them look really good.
So glad you had a good visit at the ranch. And 13...so hard to believe!! Happy Birthday to the Quads.
Happy birthday to the kids, great pictures! Are they 13 now? Great picture you made of the blue sky. Ain't nothing better than a country sky is there?-----so big and blue and pretty clouds. We have no airplanes going over here, much less jets, it's so peaceful and quiet, no sirens anymore! truly peaceful. That horsemint is pretty. I love corn on the cob too, that looks delicious. Hope your sunday has been great and have a good and safe drive home. Hugs! debbi at debbisfrontporch, not anonymous, LOL
How exciting to have 4 teenagers all at once! Wow! Those folks sure have had their hands full for the past 13 years! But they look like they have taken every challenge in stride and they have such a beautiful family! What a blessing! Loved all your pictures...you sure have had some lovely country life there with the flowers and blue skies and ducks and all the rest of the beauty surrounding you. Oh, and the FOOD, your meals always look SO good! We had corn on the cob last week with our kids too, and it was SO good and sweet and juicy. Looked just like yours. I hope you had a safe trip home and that you are settled back in for now. I'm not sure I could leave the country...it's just so beautiful! Thank you for sharing it all with us. Happy Birthday to the Quads!!!
