It's good to be back home and all settled in again.
This is Tuesday and Brenda and I met up for Tuesday Treasures and a Chick-fil-a lunch and a nice catch up visit!
I love this printed canvas!
While everyone seems to be taking Christmas decor down - I am adding to mine.
This morning Louis Dean and I were having coffee in his music room and watching the birds outside flying in and out of the huge honeysuckle bush out by the driveway.
He said he would love to have a bird feeder rith ther by his window.
This one was waiting for me at the thrift store!
Brenda arrived before I did and had this in her buggy knowing I would love it!
She finds the best things!!
I'm going to love wearing this cool sweater!
Love the details and that it's longer in the back.
Green is my color!
I hung this printed canvas on my pantry door - for the time being!
For $2 I bought this and will put it in the den - maybe on the closet door.
If I hang pictures on it - you never even realize there's even a closet there!
I have found such unique necklaces at the thrift stores!
The bracelet at the upper left says Genesis 50:20 on the little metal tag.
I will enjoy wearing all these!
I continue to add to my Paris themed bedroom.
What a cool head band!
I'llbe using this when I decorate after I take Christmas down - but not yet!
Tabitha has been intent on escaping and I am tired of worrying about her being out!
So for now, when we get up in the mornings I am putting both cats in the guest room.
They stay there until we are no longer going in and out for the day.
Yesterday morning I went out to check the mail and when I opened the front door - she was poised and ready to bolt! It was a cold day and yet she stayed out over 5 hours.
More 'debris' for the spring!
It was good to shop and visit with Brenda!
This was my first time to get out by myself since - I don't know when!
Brenda and Billy have been sick ever since a day or two after Christmas so this was her first day to get out!
It's cold in Texas and we are warm and cozy in the den tonight.
Candles are lit....
there's a fire burning in the fireplace.....
Dessert was a peach and blackberry cobbler!
This afternoon I watched some of of the programs I like....
and now we are watching some that Louis Dean likes!
Summer sent this pic to me.....I gifted her lots of warm pajamas and things to wear this winter as it gets COLD in Arkansas!
Now it is cold in Texas and we are bundled up and have the heat on in the house.
Snow is forecast for the next day or two.....
We don't do 'Winter' well in Texas so it will be a few days of staying home.
The bad weather won't arrive until tomorrow night and I have an appointment with an eye specialist in the afternoon. I should be home before it hits.
I want to thank all of you for the kind and encourging words from my first post of Children in the Closet. I was pretty nervous about how it would be received and was truly blessed by all your support.
There's going to be 50 chapters - or so I think - and I am now writing chapter 39.
I am so grateful for all of you!!

This has got to be the biggest haul you have ever made! We are still dealing with the big Snowmagedden!
Wow, you always find so many neat things when you go out. I rarely find much of anything at the thrift stores here.
its a rare day for sure that you go to a thrift store and don't find treasures. I like the vest and sweaters and you will be needing layers for going outside for a few days, I walked Beau in a shirt, and not one, but two sweater coats and a beanie hat over my ears. it was 42 and I nearly froze to death. ha ha.. thin blood from living in heat all the time. bob is fussing constantly about how cold it is.
love the photo for of Summer In Winter . ha ha ha ha ha. she is always smiling and Happy no matter what. glad you got a day out. I have not had a fun day out in a very long time.
It's cold here where I am too, but we expect rain not snow. We are keeping cozy inside too. I aways love your Tuesday finds. Hope you stay safe and warm.
I loved the first part of your book -- you are doing a great job on it!! Loved seeing your thrift treasures too, stay warm and safe if you have snow/ice coming!!! Hugs
I love that soda bottle feeder thingy that you got Louis Dean! What a great idea! Also love anything Coldwater Creek! Your pinto beans look so good, especially on a cold night! Take care of yourselves in all the cold, snowy weather! It seems like you are getting all our northern weather down there this year, so far we've gotten almost no snow! Have a wonderful rest of your week!
