A Day of REST!

I am usually what Louis Dean calls a 'buzzer!' I BUZZ! It's what I DO!
Not today, though. I have been so tired the last couple of days I thought I might be getting sick.
Turns out I am just tired and allergies are getting to me!

So......this morning I slept until 10.
I did NO housework - at all.
Louis Dean could not believe I was a veggie all day.

I spent some time in the hot tub.
I painted for a couple of hours.
I read.
I napped.
I rested!

This is our very last weekend in the RV park!
We have been here since the end of August.
We are going HOME next Saturday - just seven more days!
It dawned on us that we haven't done some of the things we MEANT to do and time is running out.

So last night we had dinner at a Mexican restaurant right up the street.

The food was great and the margarita was perfect!

Louis Dean loved the music!
However, Casa Maria is STILL our favorite place and we will eat there one last time this coming Friday.

Yesterday afternoon Mike and I walked the babies down to the park.
I'm happy we are ALL moving back home the very same weekend!
God DOES have a way of working things out - perfectly!

We may miss this place.
It has been a blessing to have such a nice park.
For some odd reason I feel sad every time I see a camper leave.
It's really not sad at all so I don't know why I feel this way.
The managers told me many people come here for medical treatments at the nearby hospitals.
Others come to visit family. Some work here in the area.
Nearly everyone is happy when they LEAVE to go HOME!
I know WE will be! Still, we have made a lot of memories.

Louis Dean is a regular at the pool and has worn his swim suit nearly OUT!
We had hoped to spend a month at the beach before we went home but have decided against it.
At least at THIS time. We have two months before it gets HOT in Texas!
That will give us time to tend the yard, finish painting the house and do some general clean up outside.

I've enjoyed the pretty landscaping here but am itching to get back to my OWN plants!
We are counting down the DAYS!

What a great day you had! I love your nickname, Buzzer! I can see that. And I'm glad you are finally heading home. I know there are so many things you need and want to do there although life in the RV park sure looks nice! Safe travels next week!

XO,
Jane

Changes are always bittersweet for me. I know you will miss the RV park, but it will be nice for you to be HOME home again too. The video of LD and the music was cute! Enjoy your rest. It's what I did today too.

OMYGOODNESS....I can't believe how much the babies have grown. Sooo adorable.
I know you've really enjoyed that wonderful park but are so anxious to get home. Your house will feel like it's 3 times bigger than it really is. hahaaa
I've never seen such a buzzer as you...you are amazing and so is your sweetie guy.

Looks like you had a great day of relaxing, you truely deserve it:)
Love your nickname Buzzer, seeing that you are constantly busy I think it fits;)
While you are anxious to get home, after living so long in a camper, do you forsee any "camper" trips in the near/distant future? :)

I certainly enjoyed reading about your months in the park, helping out your daughter and son-in-law. The babies are so beautiful - just remembering this time last year gives me the chills.
Enjoy your last few days there!

You deserve to rest. I can't believe you only needed a day.

There's no place like "home". So happy for your whole family.

I'm glad you're now home. I'm sure it's less stressful of traveling up and down 45. I bet the bed is a lot softer too. ;o)
