Today was a real event for me! I had all eight of my grandchildren together for the first time EVER!
This is a memory to treasure. Just LOOK at the expression on Kailey's face!!!
Sweet, sweet grands, every single one!
The morning started when I woke up, stepped out of the camper and found Faith and this little Raynie sitting out on the driveway waiting for me.
We downed some chocolate milk and pop tarts, got dressed as quickly as we could and headed over to Aunt Amber's.
The older grands were anxious to visit the younger ones. This was the first time Levi had even met them!
He made the rounds and was making sure he held each one!
Adorable!
SO cute!!!
I love Levi's little grin!
Logan is the hardest one to win over but he found if he was a 'cookie man' even she would come to him!
He threw a pretty good Cookie PARTY!!
Sam enjoyed holding the quads and was especially fond of Harrison.
Faith spent a LOT of time with Trystan!
She will make a good mother someday - just as I knew Amber would!
Granddad arrived and Logan heard him first so he immediately help her!
She is teething and not feeling well so after a few seconds she wanted to come back to Grandma!
That's when Kailey jumped up there in his arms!
The two of them kept him busy!
I am NOT a singer.......
but the babies are so CUTE!!!
Aunt Amber made a kid friendly lunch cooking up about a dozen grilled cheese sandwiches!
Raynie looks so small at the table. She played well with her older cousins AND her younger ones!!!
Aunt Amber had little treat bags for all of them.
That helped keep them occupied while the babies napped.
Then she put a movie on for them and handed out the denim quilts and they were good to go while she and I enjoyed a couple of Greek salads from a local restaurant she had heard about.
I think Raynie enjoyed her dazzling stickers more than anything!
We stayed til after the babies woke up and then played a little more before it was time to go.
Sam pumped gas for the VERY FIRST time!!!
This Snow Cone stand was my surprise treat for them this afternoon and it is exactly 21 stop lights from Bush down MacArthur! You can make a game out of anything with kids!
Levi got a brain freeze!!
It was a beautiful day - in every way!
Aunt Summer came to get Raynie late this afternoon. The boys were running after the car and was so surprised when she STOPPED the car, got OUT of the car and started chasing THEM!!!
Summer is so much fun!!!
Sam grilled hot dogs for dinner tonight while I fixed the 'fixin's' inside.
Levi has certainly enjoyed the huge bubble wands Aunt Sabrina gave them!
They voted to do yard baths once again......
this time complete with shampoos!!
Sam looks JUST LIKE his daddy!!!
Squeezes my heart!
We closed our evening out with the newest episode of Duck Dynasty.
They think Granddad is like Phil!
We are snuggled back in the camper tonight. Louis Dean never gives up so he fixed the water AGAIN!
This time (I THINK!) was the charm!
Faith brought this tiny battery votive candle out and set it on the table tonight to serve as an extra night light.
The first night Lucy slept with her. Last night Raynie slept with her. I think she was missing them tonight.
Tomorrow is our grand finale!
I'm not AS tired as I was last night.......but it's past time for me to get to sleep!!!
And trust me - I have been sleeping very well since MiMi Camp started!!!
