Busy! Busy! Busy! BUSY!!

That  Harrison is a busy little boy!

He would jump all day long in this if we let him!

He wears himself out and then just drops his head down  to take a little nap.

Kailey enjoys the bouncers, too, just not as much as Harrison!
That boy can make anything bounce!!

He'll even bounce up and down when Granddad holds him!

Our days are 'busy x four' these days.
I arrive here at 7:30 and leave at day's end.
Louis Dean arrives slightly later and leaves slightly earlier.

We couldn't do without his extra long arms that hold two babies at once!

To say we are tired by the end of the day is an understatement!
Last night LD left early and draped the camper sofa with soft blankets and extra pillows for me.
I came in, changed into a nightgown and.......

this is where I stayed from 6:30 pm to 8:00!
I then took three very short steps from here to the foot of the bed.
When I woke up at 7:00 this morning it was time to start all over again!

These little quadlings are worth it all!

Amber continues to recover more each day.
April's father in law remains in the hospital. It may be some time before he goes home and even then he will have to return for treatment every other day. I was mistaken when I thought he would be out of the hospital within a couple of days. They do expect him to make a full recovery - albeit - a painful one!
April's husband was injured the next day in an unrelated accident so she has had her hands full with her own family. We miss her but her skills are needed more close to  home these days!
She is here this afternoon so Mike will appreciate her helping with the bedtime routine before she goes home.

After dinner tonight we plan to head back to the camper where hopefully I will NOT have to go directly to bed!
We haven't been there since we came back long enough to do anything but undress, sleep and then dress again!

But there's nothing wrong with resting either.......

No, there's nothing wrong with resting, especially after those happy but busy long days!

Amber seems to be recovering really quickly, that's great!

I sure can identify with you--our son and daughter-in-law had triplets and a two year old. We lived in with them the first three months and then graduated to going home on weekends-we lived two hours away. We never knew we could b so tired! But, like you, we loved every minute of it. It passed too quickly, they are now six years old and we visit once or twice a week and they come on scool vacations to visit us.

Oh my Dear, I thought of you this afternoon, when I was just kinda'-lazin'-around. You are so very, very, super busy. Best of everything, to help you continue on this merry merry-go-round of helping.

So sorry about all of April's family health problems. -sigh- What awful timing. -sigh-

Lots and lots of gentle hugs,
"Auntie"

That picture of Harrison napping is absolutely adorable! Axle always was a bouncer too and even now he LOVES a trampoline!!!

Glad Amber is recovering well. Many continued prayers for her. Poor April, she's had a LOT on her plate lately hasn't she. Prayers for her and her family as well.

Now continue resting Mrs. Linda. I can't imagine how exhausted you all must be at the days end!

You need all the rest you can get. What a sweet grandma you are to take care of those precious babies. You and LD have your hands full -- literally! So glad Amber is recovering. Still praying for April and her family. It doesn't rain, but it pours! Please keep us updated.

So glad at least you know when your body needs to rest. Enjoy your posts so much, so take care of yourself along with Amber, LD and those sweet babies. We are having only one about 4 weeks from now, but she has lots of help with just the one and the 3 year old. Know that we miss you here in Irving. Virginia

Thanks, Virginia! I had my babies ONE at a time and ALL babies are a lot of work! Babies of different ages make it even HARDER, don't you think? At least when we get through one stage it's DONE!!!
Are you still at First Christian? We loved our time there and all the people......

I hope you catch up on all of your sleep so you have some quality time in the evening for yourself. Sending you a big hug!

Wow, look at your four darling grandangels, they're precious and growing so quickly. You look so cute on the couch, soooo totally understandable after spending a day with the babes.

I'm behind a bit on my reading here but it sounds like Amber is doing well, recovering and that's great news.

Have a wonderful Thursday and a great weekend!

I love watching from afar as you take care of these beautiful babies. We seem to wear out with one or two at a time, and then we have a day or two to recover. You and LD are doing great. Glad to hear of your daughter's improvement and really sorry to hear of April's family. Really hard time.
