Dining Room...all dressed up for FALL!

The Dining Room is all dressed for fall with its warm pumpkin colors!
My favorite season and my favorite color palette!
I always enjoy unpacking and setting out my 'stuff'.....like the ceramic turkey cranberry dish and matching salt and pepper shakers I made back in 1982. There are two leaf collages tucked back behind them. Amber and Benjamin did these for a fall craft project years ago when we were homeschooling.
A fall basket was a gift from my daughter in law several years ago. As I unpack and display the decorations I am also enjoying my lovely memories.

The perpetual tree is covered in raffia, apples and fabric pumpkins as well as the odd pieces of a leaf garland. I use EVERYTHING!
These pilgrims were another craft project. Benjamin made this set when he was eight or nine years old. He even sewed on the sewing machine! The bases are large root beer bottles.
I try to do a craft project with my grandchildren every year. We did these Harvest Angels in 2007. I always make one for myself as well. I LOVE to do crafts!
This happy little pumpkin can is this year's fall project. My husband is handy and can drill the holes and make the wire handles. I will spray paint the cans with a base of white and the grandkids can sponge on the orange paint and add details. I purchased this one at the Ardmore Craft Fair a LONG time ago!

I have not felt very good today but it always makes me feel better when I can putter around with my 'stuff.' Kind of like therapy!

"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns."

Linda - I like your new fall look ! I love to change them around as they get boring after a while. Doing it with the seasons seems to work well.
I just posted, so I decided to drop by and see if my feed are working. Isn't this crazy?
We have been so busy the last two weeks. This is the time to take a trip to New England --- about mid October !!! The colors are outstanding.
I'm so glad you are enjoying your family time together.
