Summer's Successful Surgery!

We were up early Thursday morning as we had to be in Frisco, Texas by 7:00!

We ran a tiny bit late and they were waiting on her as she was the first surgery of the day!
Normally it is the patient that must wait!

We went right  in and they were so efficient and kind and allowed me to stay with her right up to the moment they took her to the operating room.

Surgery was scheduled for 8:00 and that's exactly when they started!

Everything went as planned and she spent 30 minutes in recovery!
We were heading to Starbucks at 9:30 for tea and coffee!

I've not seen Summer this happy in a long long time!
She was sore because of the incision but had NO pain!!!

Praise God and thank you for all your prayers!

Louis Dean cooked supper for us last night to celebrate!
Chicken fried steak fingers, garlic green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy!
I made us all small salads.

I absolutely LOVE Happy Endings!!

Awesome! So was this surgery to put in a new pain blocker thingy? How long will the pain-free last? I just had a nerve ablation myself this week. It looks like Louis Dean is an excellent cook! He can come over here any time, as my chicken fried steak has never worked out!

Such good news! I was praying for Summer all day and I'm so glad there was a good conclusion to her surgery. Pain is so debilitating. To be without is a blessing.

They removed, replaced and relocated the the Boston Scientific battery which is directly above my right buttock. The old location was difficult to charge. The battery should last about 5 years.
Thank you, thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers and sending fast recovery wishes! Summer - Linda Chapman’s daughter.
