That's what Summer, Sabrina, Karen and I enjoyed last weekend! Beach Therapy! We walked the beach, collected seashells, read, napped, ate some great food....Cajun Seafood, German, Greek and Italian meals, played NUTS, napped some more, did some crabbing, birdwatching and art! Truly got our 'buckets filled' as Louis Dean says!
First stop was Taco Cabana!
A walk on the beach when we arrived on Thursday!
We gathered shells and sea glass.
I am 'OUT STANDING' on the beach! Great way to end a day of travel!
Friday! Here's to US!! And the BEACH!!
Our German dinner at Wurst Haus....
Hungarian Goulash for me...
Something GERMAN for Sabrina.....(I forgot what it was called!)
Summer's dinner choice.....
Karen's Meat Roll......
Our place in the sun......and shade!
Summer and Karen ready to go crabbing!
Some really cool sand castles and such! These kids have a great dad!
NUTS!! Sabrina won one round as did Summer and I! We are all WINNERS!
At the bird sanctuary....then time to head for home!
This is a great find I found on the beach. Some kind of tooth of something really old! Karen is so knowledgeable about these things. She got real excited about it!
Our final meal before home.
We had a wonderful time.
Already planning on doing it again!
