Tuesday!

While we didn't do our NORMAL Tuesday today, we did do a few of the things we love!
We still had Logan and Kailey until late this afternoon so I thought they might enjoy getting out of the house!

I called Ruth Ann and she was game so off we went!

What better place to shop than the Goodwill!!!
As I browsed the little girl dresses and would point a cute one out to Logan, she would say, "No.....that one's too 'widdle'." They tell me they are BIG kids now!!!
I affectionately call some of my friends and loved ones 'Baby Cakes.'
The girls were quick to tell me they are NOT babies!!

All kids LOVE Chick-fil-a!

There were only two other children in the playground so they played for a little while.

I think it was a good way to end the visit!
We took them home and put them down for naps and Granddad stood guard over them while Ruth Ann and I did a Sam's run!

It was a joyous reunion when their parents arrived!

Granddad gets the BEST hugs!!
This one is Logan.....

and Kailey!!

They will all be so glad to be back together again.
Trystan and Harrison stayed at the other grandparent's home and little Trystan had another seizure Saturday evening. She is fine now but this is a cause for concern since the doctors told Amber they would have to revisit the situation if she had a second one. I think I can speak for ALL of us that we are thrilled to have the Quad Parents HOME!!!

Now for my Goodwill Treasures!

I took a pic of this before it left my house!
Amber saw it and, since her kitchen is done up with the wine/grape theme, it went home with her!

Two Franciscan saucers to go with the other few pieces I have.

FALL debris!!! I love this idea! Spray paint the can and Modge Podge fabric cutouts on!!

These little plaques will hang on an outside wall - by the kitchen deck.

I never pass up candles when they are just a few cents!

Something for Harrison!

I have several dinosaurs and he can keep them together in this  bag that unzips to a play area.
I have one for Farm animals, too!

This brand new framed print looks better than the photo and it, too, will hang outside.

A metal Welcome tin!!!

That's it for tonight!!! No art and I am so tired I'm not even sure what my name is!
I will sit with Louis Dean for a precious few minutes and then crawl into my bed and sleep like a baby!

Yes! You need some rest...I hope all continues to be well with Trystan. I'm sure Mike & Amber had a great time but happy to be home with their family. I always think coming back home is great feeling. Sweet dreams.

Glad Trystan is ok now, but will be curious about what the doctor has to say about her seizures...What a lovely way to spend a Tuesday!

Okay, BabyCakes! You have certainly earned your sleep! It will be good to drill down whatever is causing Trystan's troubles. Oh my! Very exciting for grandparents to have happen. Hope that Amber and Mike had a wonderful few days to themselves. They sure deserve them. As for you and Louis
Dean, may God restore your energy. (I really chuckled seeing the three of you in front of the store as I had wondered ever since I read your former post earlier in the day. )

It must have been fun to take the girls to the Goodwill store. When my boys were small, I used to take them regularly to the local charity shops, they could choose books, dvd's, and toys with freedom, as everything was so cheap. Sorry to hear Trystan has had another seizure, I hope the doctors get a diagnosis soon x

Leave it to you and Ruth Ann to take the girls to Goodwill and Chick-Fil-A. Starting them early, aren't you? Why were you showing them "widdle" dresses? Ha, ha. So cute! You certainly deserve your sleep. You worked hard for it. I'm hoping and praying that Trystan is OK. I know from Joe's seizures that it can be scary. There's so much out there to help with seizures now that I'm sure the doctors will know what to do to treat her.

Linda, I am so sorry to read this about Trystan. Praying for all of you. I can imagine you did sleep well by yourself. Your beautiful grandchildren are growing so fast. It's a blessing that you help with them. I know Amber appreciates all the help form her loving family. Take care and get some rest now. xoxo, love , Susie

Hope they get to the bottom of Trystan's problem. You said they were all a bit sick so I hope it is very a reaction to fever as that is pretty common in little ones. Still, it is better to do the tests to make sure!!( I cannot turn off my Old Nurse thoughts!) Loved the Desert Rose pieces you found as that is my everyday ware. My husband's cousin had this pattern and I have always loved it so he got me a set for our anniversary one year. He is a good husband. Loved the pictures of Granddaddy getting those sweet hugs. So Sweet. Hope you can rest a bit today!!

Such a cute picture of you and the girls. Sorry I have missed so much. One of the quads had a seizure, more than one. My youngest had seizures. Well, he came with seizures. he had some pretty bad ones but finally outgrew them. Was this seizure a febrile? Those are the ones that are onset before an illness. Hopefully that is what it was. You are great grandparents.....I should say wonderful. Hugs

Wow that's crazy about Trystan. I hope all is well. The Franciscan plates...wish I knew you sooner. My mom had a whole set of the dessert rose pattern she took to the resale shop.
I like that idea of mod poging a fabric cut out on the can. Nifty idea.
You're gonna have those girls trained to shop at good will every Tuesday. LOL
