My Last Day at Book Fair....and Skipping This Week's Chapter of Children in the Closet.....

Today was my last shift for the fall book fair this year!
I worked from 2:00-4:00 and took the grand Bells home.

School lets out at 4:10 and we loaded up and were on our way!

I went in for a few minutes and held little Bauer!!

Such a sweetheart!

When I left this afternoon I had put out two potatoes for Louis Dean to bake.
I also had chicken salad, lunch meat and cheese and all sorts of snacky food.
Alas, by the time I got home at 5:00 - Louis Dean had not had even one single bite to eat!

This is another 'new normal' for us and from now on I cannot leave him hoe alone if I haven't fed him!

I am tired tonight and do not have the emotional, physical, mental or spiritual energy to look over the next chapter of Children in the Closet so I will publish it next Monday.

Wishing you all a good week.
Tomorrow is the last September Morn of 2025!
I have loved every single one!!!

You look so pretty. Like on one those high-born English ladies on the T.V. movies.

You DO look as if you could be on Downtown Abbey! ( I'm sure gonna miss that show!)
I will look forward to another post BEFORE "Children in the Closet"! Did you ever read those V.C. Andrews books called "Children in the Attic"? They were a bit too adult at times, I think, if I remember right.
I think I've about gotten over the stroke. My speech is almost back. Love you, Trudy!

I love the photo of your adorable self with Bauer. Is the new kitty named after one of my favorite characters, Jack Bauer?

You look pretty in the hat. So sorry LD will not eat when he is home alone. You take care. I know from experience being a caregiver is not easy. Jan

Love those pictures of you.
Being a caregiver is 24/7, it seems. But you do need breaks. Making sure he is fed before you leave gives you a little bit of free time. :)

Good morning my dear sweet sister. I am finally at the end of my long sickness and will go to Woment's Bible Study for the first time in months. You are looking beautiful as usual and love seeing you in outfits you have found at your thrift days. You are adorable. So sorry to hear that your precious Louis Dean is needing you help to even remember to eat. You are such a loving wife and caregiver. I love you dearly and will be putting a letter in the mail to you in the next few days. Hugs and Kisses

You my Lady, are gorgeous in that hat and hugging Bauer. That is a prize photo.
I am sorry things are getting a bit more difficult for you and LD.
This Care-giving isn't for sissies. I continue to pray for you, for strength, for a sense of humor, and an extra dose of patience in the coming days. Rest and recoup please...
