I was so excited to see my first sunflower here at home on Monday morning!

Even though I have never found the perfect one!
I bought these potted sunflowers and hope to fill my veggie stand with more sunflowers - as I find them.
Brenda gave me this Michael Kors dress!

I plan to use the two placemats on the kitchen table soon.

I put this placemat in a white wooden tray and put it in my Quiet Corner.
The canvas is made of some kind of plastic so it's weatherproof.

I have had so much fun fluffing up this quiet corner and have been spending at least an hour or two out here every day!

This morning I made us a breakfast dish with a tortilla base.
Actually, it was more like 12:30 this afternoon so it was a lunch!
Ilene came down for popcorn, tea and a movie!
It's fun to have someone to watch a movie with!

Next week's movie will be Shall We Dance? with Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon!

so nice having your cozy spot...it is very neat. I love sunflowers. We have a nursery in town with a small field next to it. One year a local man was complaining about he field not being mowed...what he didn't understand it that through the grass the sunflowers grow and completely cover that section of land. It is beautiful and many people drop in to take photos. This piece of land actually adds a touch of beauty to the town during the months of July and August.
Oh, I liked both those movies very much; Under the Tuscan Sun I think I have seen at least three times, I liked it that much. And I noticed it is showing up on my YouTube again so I might even watch it again this weekend. Love your finds, especially that owl canvas !!!!! Have a great rest of your week. Dawn P. Albany, GA

A nice group of finds, as always, Linda. The movie you watched is one of our favorites and I also enjoyed the Richard Gere one which incidentally was based off another movie with the same theme.
