It's been a beautiful day in the DFW area!
Louis Dean has been working outside and enjoying every minute.
This heavy stone bench needed to be leveled and he did it!
He worked for a couple of hours out by his storage building while I went thrifting with Brenda.
My Tuesday Treasures!
I love this colorful printed canvas and LD will hang it for me on the outside wall facing the gazebo.
I admit to being a little crazy but I am into decorating fences and outside walls!
Always on the lookout for outdoor chair cushions.
Brand new and $1.25.
The fabric in front is actually a shower curtain so it is sturdy fabric.
I'll be using it to cover the den sofa - just the seating area.
Louis Dean and I eat and snack in the den so I protect the couch with a pretty cover.
I used comforters and such before but that wasn't working well but this works well!
This is a handy bag for day trips or overnight stays.
I fell in love with this handmade apron!
Brand new!
Rain got in one of the deck boxes I use for my spring/summer decorations and some of my things were ruined. Today I found some spring treasures to replaced the ones I had to throw in the trash.
See the wreath on the left?
I bought several packages of the yellow flowers and will use them to decorate it.
Brenda spied this heavy firescreen and hauled it up and into the cart and then loaded it in the car for me.
It's really nice and was only $10.00.
While Louis Dean had leftover chili dogs, I had a plate of roasted veggies!
Healthy and delicious!
Update on chapter 13.....
I wrote this chapter six or seven years ago and haven't read it again before last week.
It must have been a hard one to write or I was just off or something but it required more edits than most other chapters thus far.
I'll publish it next Monday once we get it sorted out

My favorites are the dusty pink purse and the glorious flower painting. And the fire screen is such a bargain!
What wonderful treasures you found. That apron looks really cute on you. That firescreen is awesome and what a bargain it was.
I am always amazed with all of the NEAT things you find. Not only do you find them, but the prices are fabulous. good for you Linda. It is so nice to see LD out doing things he enjoys doing..He is very talented..
what a deal on the fire screen... I love the bright flower canvas and would hang that on my living room wall. the things you buy all the time I have never seen them here and on rare occasion they do have something it's way over priced. our good will charge more than if you buy new
So many wonderful treasures. Louis Dean looks so good and healthy and working is such a blessing. How I wish my fragile dearest could do more. But he's a happy camper when he studying and writing devotionals and acrostics. That's his happy place. And when my dearest is happy, I'm happy!!! Loving you both.
What a fabulous "haul" you got Thrifting this time. I love the signs and the one about Normal Family made me smile. Wow on the fireplace screen. Lovely and such a great price.
I love seeing LD in his Happy Place. He's so amazing especially for his age. We are struggling with the age factor and lack of strength and drive to get things done. But we keep plugging along and thanking the Lord for each day He gives us.
No hurry on your chapter 13. We'll be there to read it whenever its ready..
Love you and your sweet heart.
Sue
You look adorable in that cute new apron--love it! Love that big fireplace screen too, really nice one! Hope you're having a great week and so glad you got to do Book Fair again. Kids need BOOKS!!
Love all the neat stuff you found this week! I love aprons too, and that one is definitely a keeper! That fireplace screen is a steal of a deal for sure! Love the signs and flowers and all the fun things. Your supper looks good. I like meals like that. Hubby thinks he has to have meat all the time. I could live on vegetables. Looking forward to reading the next chapter, but please don't rush. We'll be here when it's ready. (((hugs)))
I don't know where you find all those things or how and at good prices. Does Dean like veggies? I loved your veggie plate.
Love the meme - so true about keeping a best friend like that - I lost mine two years ago and she is just irreplaceable. My favorite is the bag with the two fishes. Just FYI I only post one day - Tuesdays - I was glad to see you there. Thanks.
LOVE that purse and I think I'm going to steal your idea about protecting the furniture with a thrifted shower curtain! We're always babysitting the granddogs and they are hard on the sofa! You have the best ideas! Can't wait to read the next chapter of your book next week!
