While Louis Dean have stayed safely inside - except for a few steps outside the kitchen doors to spread some bird seed on the ice - but I have enjoyed all the pics from Amber and her family as they embrace this special winter occasion in Texas.
Bauer wanted to see what it was like outside and decided he is NOT a fan!
I took Tabitha out but held onto her....not sure she was struggling in my arms to go inside or get loose!

I hit the target on Harrison's Christmas gift.
He stayed warm and cozy while he enjoyed being out in the winter weather.
It's not surprising that as soon as there was enough ice on the street to skate a hockey puck - the Bell grands were all out there playing!
NOT enough ice to use their skates but they did what they could.

In news from home - Louis Dean is sporting a good black eye from his fall on Friday night.
So very grateful that's all the damage he sustained.
This morning I woke up and thought, "It's warm and why don't we just stay in bed awhile?"
And so we did.
I made a brunch for us after we watched Fellowship church online.
A tortilla with a filling of eggs, veggies, cream, seasonings, cheese and I also crushed up some cheese crackers for a little crunch. Baked at 350 for 25 minutes and it was really good.
We have been watching football all afternoon and are still watching the Rams and Seahawks....
Sometimes it's a good thing to stop the world and get off for a day or two - or three or four.

Our church was cancelled so we had a restful day at home. I made a roast with potatoes, carrots, and onion and we ate a good lunch with my parents. Our house is cozy and warm and we’ve enjoyed a good weekend.
Looks like Bauer is trying to figure out a way to knock those stockings off the mantel! Mike & Amber really know how to make the most of the snow and have so much fun!
i thought about you all day today, if you had gotten snow or ice or anything!! we got about 8 inches, we have not gotten out for the measurement yet. we also watched some football, it was a good distraction. i slept a good part of the day. the hubs gave me my nighttime pills this morning and those pills contains a sleeping pill, so i slept a bit of my favorite snow day away!! tell ld when anyone asks about the black eye, he should say "you should see the other guy"!! keep each other warm!!

The snow seems to have been quite a treat for your family, Linda. Of course, as your grands play ice hockey it wasn’t surprising to see them on the street. Glad everyone was safe and we are enjoying a very big snowfall in NH as are so many other states.
Looks like everyone there took full advantage of the winter weather and had lots of fu.

That's scary but I'm glad that it is all he got from the fall.
Praying for you especially as things get a bit more difficult around your home. Thankfully you have such wonderful neighbors and family that make sure you are okay.

Great post as usual. I am always amazed at the growth of the Bell kids. They all are such a beautiful & handsome family. Thank you for sharing with all of us. That is quiet a bruiser for LD, and so close to the eye socket. Too much ice here so roads are mainly closed. This looks like a week of hermit living. Snow I like, bur thick, slick ice no thanks. Please take care.
