Show and Tell Tuesday!

This has not been my normal Tuesday! Ruth Ann is ill and I am still trying to recover from the 'crud' I can't seem to get rid of. I DID dress, put on make up and LEFT the house for the first time since last Friday! It's election day and I voted. No movie today but I did hit up the Goodwill!

I found a cute sock monkey and a bear to take to the quads tomorrow. Kailey reminds me of a little monkey and all the babies can make the 'monkey' sounds!
EEE---OOOO--EEE- OOOO!

Another 'find' at Goodwill - this ivy garland was custom made using a strip of upholstery webbing.

I put it on the piano and added some small Easter eggs and decorations.

It is unique and I'm sure I'll use it a lot - a thick garland of ivy leaves!

A wine box filled with a photo book, wine book, frame and cards as well as some wine corks.

A small 8 X10 picture in keeping with the wine theme!

I spent the afternoon mixing up a meat loaf to take to Quadville tomorrow - all ready to pop in the oven - along with a dish of scalloped potatoes and some candied carrots. I picked up a loaf of garlic bread - the kind that is in a foil bag that you can put right in the oven. Come to think of it - the entire meal is all ready to bake! Easy Peasy!!!

Maggie was entertaining today!
She seemed to think this Bunny Couple were live critters. I caught her trying to nibble on the fake carrots!

A little later she was snoozing in Lucy's minky bed!!
Poor Lucy is intimidated by her!!

Since it's Tuesday I set up the art table and painted alone. Ruth Ann is sick and Sabrina couldn't come because Raynie is sick, too!! It's been kind of lonely today and doesn't seem like Tuesday at all!!
I'm hoping next week we'll all feel better and I think my sister, Luann, is going to join us and we are going to PARTY!!!

Thank you so much for prepping dinner, I'm looking forward to eating a meal I didn't make! Plus you won't feel lonely for a second tomorrow. I've already picked out cute outfits for the babies to wear tomorrow and they'll be ready to play!!

I love the picture of Maggie in the dog bed and Lucy laying on the floor. I can see that happening in my house.

  10. Linda, Those are cute finds. Poor Lucy...she should have jumped right in there with the cat. The way the cat is looking at those bunnies...so funny. I sure hope you can get rid of that illness. Get plenty of rest and liquids. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
