The Sunday before Christmas! There is an urgency in the air! The COLD air, I might add!!
It has been COLD in Texas today.
We start nearly every Sunday with coffee while watching Ed Young, Sr preach at Second Baptist Church in Katy, Texas. Then we dress and drive down the street to Plymouth Park United Methodist Church for the 11:00 am service.
Here's Louis Dean sporting his new clothes!
We are loving this church!
After services we headed to the local Kroger to buy the stuff for our Christmas Eve Dinner!
I put the groceries up and then vacated the kitchen!!
Louis Dean was in his element!
BAKING!!!
While he baked I bagged up the Texas Trash and got Benjamin's box ready to mail in the morning!
We had a surprise visit from Sherry - our daughter in law!
She had noticed our wood supply was low and brought us some fresh firewood straight from their ranch!!
This is what 120 cinnamon rolls look like!!
HE bakes and I frost!
We are heading over to Quadville with this tin for A&M and the quad's breakfast.
Amber has an early morning appointment and we don't do mornings well.
It's just easier to go late and spend the night and wake up where we need to be!!
We got a lot accomplished today! Christmas gifts for Christmas Eve and Morning are all ready!
Just one more pillow to make - tomorrow!
I even managed to walk Lucy about a mile this evening! My third day to walk - despite rain or cold!!
The countdown to Christmas continues!
Oh, boy, I don't know which is the best lookin', Louis Dean or his cinnamon rolls. :))
