Since we were on a roll.....and Amber needs to get out of the house while she can....we decided to take in a movie!! After all - it IS Tuesday!!
This was our movie of choice! Amber and I have both been to Hawaii a number of times - once she and I were there together for 17 days! We LOVED the scenery, the music, and of course GEORGE CLOONEY!! The story line was sad but even that had a silver lining. Amber leaned over and whispered, "I'm glad to be dealing with THIS instead of THAT!!" So true!
It was a good day. Amber is always saying if we lived closer she would go to the movies with me every Tuesday.
Another blessing from this day - Amber got the blood results from July's trip to the vet yesterday!
It seems that her soon to be 20 year old cat is actually getting healthier!!
Her thyroid was DOWN and her kidney functions were UP!
AND she had gained a pound and a half!
She is good to go! A follow up visit in a year!
The vet said she may live for years to come!
Have I said this already?
It has been a GOOD day!!!
What good times you gals are having. Food, movies, fun... A happy Valentine's Day to you all...
ReplyDeleteThat cat is 20 years old? I'd never know it to look at her. She's really looking great. Glad that her report was so good.
What fun! Amber is very fortunate to have you mom!!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that Amber is feeling better! Yay!
ReplyDeleteI never knew a cat could live that long! You go girl!

ReplyDeleteHello Linda. I'm your newest Follower. You left a lovely comment about the passing of my cat, Butterscotch, two days ago on my blog. Thank you (I personally, just now, replied to each and every comment on the blog--you all are a amazingly supportive).
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned your youngest daughter is pregnant with quads, and that is such a Blessing (and amazing) to hear, that I'm now Following you.
God Bless you,
Suzanne in NW Illinois
Lovely news, about the GOOD DAY!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad y'all able to get out and Amber is feeling better. July may change her mind about sticking around when those little quads start walking. July will be hiding under the beds full time. LOL
