Just a Little Walk in the Neighborhood.....Times FOUR!

Normally I am only in Quadville on Wednesdays but since Mike has been out of the country I stayed longer this week. He is now safely back home as I write tonight! I will go home in the morning.

Or I should say I will LEAVE in the morning! My niece is getting married Saturday so I will be heading to Fort Worth as soon as I get up to help in the preparations. It has been a busy week and won't slow down until Sunday!
Louis Dean was home today cooking briskets for the wedding dinner. Tomorrow he will be baking dinner rolls. We are excited to be a part of so many wonderful things going on!

Little LoLo Bear!

The babies still have colds and have managed to keep fairly happy attitudes even though you can tell they don't feel well.

I thought a little walk out in the sunshine and fresh air before dinner tonight would be just the thing!
I decided to take my feather light umbrella stroller recently purchased for a little bit of nothing at Salvation Army. It's easy to handle and I took the babies one at a time.

Harrison was the first to go!

He met a giant poodle and they were both very friendly to each other!
Harrison 'talked' as walked.
It won't be long before we will be having real conversations!

Next up was Trystan!
With her fair skin I kept to the shady side of the street!
Trystan babbled on in her little chatter the whole time!

Quadville is located in a beautiful neighborhood.
I loved seeing their house as we came back up the street.

Kailey was the third to go!
She wore an A&M hat so the sun was no problem.

She enjoyed being outside and was very quiet - just watching and listening as we strolled along.

I was thinking how cooler it was than in recent days - looked at my phone and it was still 97 degrees!
At 6:00 no less!
Well, that IS cooler than it HAS been!!

We enjoyed the pretty landscaping along our route.

Logan was the last to ride.

I didn't cut anyone short - and I got a good work out to boot!

Amber made a great dinner, we fed the babies, put them to bed - opened a nice bottle of wine, put our feet up and watched a movie -

Leatherheads with George Clooney.
A perfect way to end our day.

  4. Gotta love this one on one time and I notice the experiences you encourage...meeting a dog, sticking the feet in the leaves, touch them, too. You really encourage exploration!

Busy happy times in your family!

  5. What a wonderful way to spend a Thursday, with four of the most adorable babies:)
Hopefully some of this glorious cool air that we are finally enjoying after many days of 90+ degrees will head your way.
    Thanks so much for sharing.
