We arrived at the hospital EARLY!
Here he is all dressed up in his new Sunday overalls!
He 'stupors' for an hour or two when he wakes up in the mornings so he was mellow and relaxed.
Our beautiful Brenda and her Billy came up to sit with me during his surgery and brought all sorts of drinks and snacks.
The doctors and nurses were all so wonderful and he stayed calm and cheerful as they prepared him for the procedure.
All ready to go!
It was only a 45 minute surgery and an hour and a half in recovery.
His room was all ready for him and we spent the rest of the afternoon and evening together!
I read and he watched football.
He was an excellent patient and has charmed all the nurses!
The pacemaker is working and I sat the monitor up that will transmit the 'report' to the doctor.
He will keep this monitor beside his bed for the rest of his life.
The pacemaker gathers data and transfers it every night between 2:00-4:00 AM and if something is not working right it will send a message to the doctor.
He's already feeling better and is more than ready to come home!!
Thank you all for your love, kindness, friendship and prayers!
Praying God's blessings on each and every one of you......
What wonderful news!! Bless both of you. Everyone I know who has a pacemaker has felt very positive about them since the day of surgery. Mary in Colorado
