Quad Wednesday - in Pictures and Few Words!

Can you follow our day in pictures and a few words?
I hope so because I am very tired as I write this journal entry tonight!

While Louis Dean doesn't look all that happy in this pic- the BEST photo of the group I took - he WAS feeling like playing music this morning!

I got up early enough to finish sanding and then staining my end table.
I am liking it a LOT!

The quads arrived and since Granddad had his guitar out - they all got a little music lesson!

While he did music - I did art!!

Hand print suns!!!
I like the poster paint I let Trystan use.

They loved getting into the paint!

Next time I will use poster paint all around.
I never thought it was a REAL paint before!

Then they all cracked some pecans!

AND played with that $2 cash register!

The sandbox is always a good draw.

We grilled cheddar smoked sausages for lunch and added guacamole, chips and hot sauce plus wafer cookies for dessert. Lunch was out on the kitchen deck.
I read Farmer Boy and Ms Piggley Wiggley before we went in for naps!
Good 2 hour naps! 2 to a room! 2 with Granddad and 2 with me!

Tea party followed.......

The kids have progressed so much to sipping from regular tea cups!

A little TV! Ice Age was a hit! They only got to see the first part but we will watch the rest next week.

We ended their day in the front yard!
Pizza, milk, nectarines and frosted animal cookies for supper!

Followed by playing in the sprinkler!!

We did driveway showers and shampoos and even brushed their teeth!

They were all ready for bed when Amber picked them up around 7:30!

It was a GOOD Quad Wednesday!!
Now Louis Dean and I are resting!
I do NOT know how Amber does it!
We are EXHAUSTED!!!

  3. You really keep those kiddies busy and I mean in such a great, healthy and active way. Bravo. And of course that keeps you going so I can see why you are exhausted at the end of the day. I am going to take my cues from you with Elsie. I pray I'm as GOOD!

  6. Oh Linda!
I am so impressed! You and LD are champs! I just sit here and think how long we have been blog friends. I met you before Holland was born. She celebrated her fourth birthday this week. Your home is the perfect blend of fine art and performing art. Brilliant!
