Just Another Day on the Ranch! In Photos and Videos....

We are loving the life down here on the ranch!!
Late to bed and late to rise - that's our kind of living!

It was 10:30 this morning before we were having our coffee in our little 'yard' beside the camper!
We stay thoroughly entertained! Red birds, mockingbirds, billy goats, baby goats - you name it - they are here!!! I still haven't met the peacock yet - but I WILL!

Louis Dean is having a big time!

He brought his bike with him and had a ball riding it around here today!
While he rode......

I wrote my Mother's Day cards and we took them to town so I could get them in the mail.

It's a nice little drive into Mart.....
and then we decided to go on to the BIG town of Waco!
Louis Dean was in the market for two items!

This is my step son riding the bicycle Louis Dean bought for me out to the truck.
I had my camera out and said, "Smile!"
Another customer said, "How can you TELL if he's smiling?

So I ran around in front of him!
Isn't he cute??
The other item LD bought was a weed eater to keep our camping spot spruced up!

We found a Dollar Tree store and I scarfed up with $1 deals....
wine glasses and eye glasses and all sorts of cool things!

We are on 'Ranch' time down here!
Dinner was at 10:00!
I made a garden salad, candied carrots, smashed potatoes (from The Pioneer Woman) and garlic bread. Dean (LD's son) grilled pork loin chops on a grill he brought down here to our camping spot and he's leaving it here for us to use!

We used our camper wine glasses!
Did you know they make Pinot Grigio in a BOX????

Videos From Our Days!!

This is such a pretty place!

Peaceful!

Louis Dean is enjoying his time down here!

Always a song in his heart and on his lips!

Here's to another wonderful day!!!
AND there's more to come!!!

  10. Living life in the fast lane on the ~~Oh that's right...no lanes you're at the ranch and only the goats are in the lane HaHa. I just love the joy and fun you are having. I just sent each of my daughters a Mother's Day card with a special personal message from me.
Going to Julie's for Mothers Day and BBQ. I'm baking a marble cake and probably make a salad too. Happy Mother's Day darling.

  12. I can certainly tell that you are loving your ranch. It looks like the perfect getaway; a home away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with all that expanse and field of fauna all to yourselves. The best part is that the Mart is just a bike ride away. So you've got the best of both worlds there. We'd love to hear more about your adventures in the ranch.
