Quadville is most often a fairly quiet place when we are there. Of course when we ARE there that means 2 extra people helping to take care of the babies so there's no need to fuss or cry or - oh, my! - scream!!!
SO in the spirit of 'keeping it real' - here they are!
ONE baby crying is something but FOUR! They seem to encourage each other at times!
However, as soon as their needs are met they calm right down.
Mind you, it is so much EASIER to do this if you have more than just one person helping.
I.do.not.know.how.Amber.does.it.alone.
Bath time in the kitchen works well. That way you can see the others in the playroom while bathing one at a time. Amber and Mike have given a lot of thought as to how to make things work!
Quadville had a holiday feel going on yesterday as Amber began some of her Christmas decorating!
This year will be so much FUN!
We have watched the Home Alone movies at Christmas for the last 23 years!!
Amber popped in Home Alone 2 - to entertain Granddad as much as the quads!
Of course ALL the babies wanted to sit in his lap to watch it!!
Kailey is looking like a little Rock STAR!!!
Ah, Wednesdays in Quadville are never dull!
To put the icing on the cake last night - Summer joined us!
She helped with the dinner and getting the kids ready for bed then my girls and I spent some quality time together just visiting and sipping wine.
It was a perfect way to end our evening!
Now it is Thursday morning as I write......and I am about to put on some Christmas music and get my grungy clothes on and begin the process of decorating for Christmas!!
2011 was the last year I really decorated since we were living in the camper in 2012.
I can't wait to open up all the tubs and see all my treasures once again!
I think I will even take a hot chocolate break this afternoon. Cold weather is coming in.
PERFECT!!!
Wednesday are always a good day in Quadville - because I get HELP! Thanks for all you and LD do. :)
ReplyDeletei was about to scream at the first video but it ended.. i don't know how she does it... truly... you really need 3 people all the time.. they are so cute and LOUD
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you since I'm not gonna be online next week!!! Hope it's safe, happy, and healthy!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I love your Santa's header on your blog, are they your paintings? Beautiful! What a wonderful Christmas you will have in Quadville! Your photos and mini movies always bring a laugh and a smile on my face that lasts all day! Enjoy decorating!
ReplyDeleteLinda, You made me laugh, with all of the babies crying at once...they wanted you in the play pen with them. I will say once again, you and Ld are a true blessing to Amber and her family. God bless all of you. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteGreat fun...enjoy that 'cold' weather and hot chocolate...we have another dump coming this weekend AGAIN!!!! BUT the good side is I think we will get above freezing for a couple days come Saturday:)
ReplyDeleteI smiled as I listened to them all whining at once! Love it. Have fun unpacking your treasures!
ReplyDeleteI turned down the volume...I could tell it was getting rough. Ha! Amazing bundles of energy they all are and Amber is doing a splendid job. I know that she truly enjoys her children.
ReplyDeleteOh that "stage" is the perfect place for puppet plays, isn't it?
Happy decorating!
Linda, your Santa's as your header is delightful. I just love getting to know your "quads" via the blog. What cuties. The short videos just bring them to life.
ReplyDeleteMy dearest is getting my tubs down next week. I thought I had a lot of decorations until I see yours. HaHa. But then I'm also in a little 2 bedroom cottage (retirement on a small scale).
Great pictures of you and the girls. I giggle every time you have a picture of LD covered in quads. It's got to be a great feeling to have all those little babe's wanting your attention and loves. Have fun decorating. If you run out of decorating you can come to my house and help me decorate
