I got home - camper home -early today and have enjoyed listening to classical music and doing an art session 'en plein air' style!
I do so intend to ask Louis Dean to help me put an outdoor studio in place at home.
All I really need is some shelter, a table and chair and an art tub full of supplies.
I already have all that!
WHY I haven't painted outdoors more is beyond me.
Photo from September 2011
Until we came down here I just automatically set up art in our dining room.
There is no wind today. A perfect time for painting and I got a lot done.
I have MISSED art!
In other news......
I am down to one last donut!
It was a good thing I took them over to Amber's this morning.
We share a mutual love for this tasty treat and that saved me from eating every last one all by myself!
Louis Dean once bought me a CASE of the 8 count packages!
I had to freeze them!
They still didn't last all that long!
It's just safer to buy the random bag from time to time!
Things look much rosier this evening and that's not just the paint speaking!
Louis Dean and I have come to terms with the 'Big Concern' and it is now a very manageable chore.
Thank you for the concern and prayers.
I really do appreciate it so very much!
Stress kind of got to me.
Perhaps it's because since 2005 I have lived such a peaceful life.
No, I guess that's not exactly true.
I married, combined households, lost my job, had surgery, Louis Dean had a heart attack........
It's true that.....
"If we wait until our lives are free from sorrow or difficulty, then we wait forever.
And miss the point entirely."
Dirk Benedict
Still and all, I am feeling much more positive about things tonight!
It was a good day over in Quadville!
One of my favorite things to do is go in the nursery each morning and get the babies up.
Sometimes they are already awake and out of their sleep sacks as they were today.
Logan and Kailey are the best SITTERS of the four!
Can Kailey GET any cuter??
Trystan is making a face at my tea!
I'm not sure she's ready for it just yet!
Kailey, on the other hand, is a natural sipper!
This afternoon the babies all ate Mum-Mums while sitting in the Bumbos!
WHERE do they get these names???
I love to see Kailey and Amber together. She gets down in the corral with the babies and they all have the best time. I love to watch my daughter as she mothers her quadlings! She is a natural!
Like I said - today was a good day!
Blogger is still changing the format a bit on me.......oh, well!!
It is STILL a good day!
At least there IS a 'blogger!'
Hi Linda; glad the weather cooperated for outside painting time. The darling quads are growing so fast. Those pink teething cheeks are so precious.

Hi Linda, what a lovely post...and beautiful photos! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLinda, makes my morning to read your blog. I love the photos you have here of the babies. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAll of the babies are so cute. I'm sure they have a positive effect on your mood. Glad to hear that things are going better for you now.
ReplyDeleteOh that must be so cute, to see the babies playing with their Mommy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you keep feeling better and better, about your "issue." Whatever it may be.
Hugs...
(I notice that your sidebar bounces about...hmmmm...never have seen that going on elsewhere. Do you see it twitching, too?)
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is so beautiful. I loved opening it in a larger format and looking at all the details. It's very special. Oh yes! A nice little area for painting outside at "the big house" would be great. You'd enjoy it so.
Isn't that the way? Things that once seemed so big and impossible can deflate to their normal size once we've had a chance to pray and talk it over with our beloved. That's a good picture of relationship and marriage.
Have another great day with those beautiful babies!
Linda, I have had problems trying to leave comments..I know it's my computer. But I sure miss leaving them for you. I just can't believe the growth of the babies. They are triving with all the love they get.So cute too.
ReplyDeleteHey one of those little donuts would only make me mad...I think 6 is a serving.LOL.xoxo,Susie
I'm so grateful things are looking up and under control! So much in life to be thankful for!
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased to see you're feeling calmer about whatever it was. It must be lovely to live somewhere where you can even think about having an outside arty area, it's definitely something that couldn't happen here!
ReplyDeletethose babies are precious...I'm glad you are able to paint....
ReplyDeleteJust think if the studio is outside no worry about paint mishap which I doubt you have anyway.
ReplyDeleteGlad to read things are a little less stressing.
