We are back in the Land of Quad!
Granddad couldn't wait to hold a couple of precious baby girls this morning!
I admit I was pretty excited to see these little quadlings!
We arrived in 'The Land of Quad' in time to kiss and hug Amber before she went off to the hospital for yet another surgery! Bless my little girl's heart! Having those babies pretty much did her in physically!
You can read her update at: Recovering Yet Again!
I had my hands FULL of babies today!
Family friend, Carol, and I took care of them all day while Amber and Mike were away! Mike is ALWAYS with Amber when she is in the hospital!
Then Granddad and I held down the fort!
It was a good day!
This is the new Quad Table Mike made - with a little help from his friends!
Trystan voted it the #1 Quad Table!!
Kailey said 'Ditto!'
Harrison wanted to know if it came with a warranty!
While Logan was only TOO happy her Grandma had room to eat at the same table!
She totally confiscated MY salad bowl - then proceeded to put HER 'puffs' in it!
Italian flavored baby puffs proved to be very tasty!!
These girls are more fun than a barrel of monkeys!!
Logan loves Carol and waved and played and acted all cute as she peeked around at her!
Trystan spent a good bit of time letting me know just how much fun SHE is!!!
This afternoon Carol and I took the quads outside to the front porch to get a little fresh air.
What a treat! A favorite neighbor came by to meet them!
The babies have been in quarantine from birth to March 1st so their social life is just beginning!
They kept Amber at the hospital overnight so I am staying in the guest room and I sent Louis Dean back to the camper. Amber should be back home tomorrow to begin a two week recovery.
She is such a trouper but even SHE has been a bit overwhelmed by having SO much going on right now!
Then throw in an unexpected surgery and recovery time......we just have to admire God's confidence in her!
Okay! You can tell with this overload of pictures of all things 'QUAD' that we are BACK!
Back in the Land of QUAD!!!
They are all growing so fast ! Thanks for the update, miss them (and you too) when you are in separate places. Thanks for sharing. Prayers for Amber and all. Very very busy two weeks ahead.

You are such a good Mom. Amber is so blessed to have you and LD in her life.
ReplyDeleteMike's a creative fella isn't he? That table looks awesome.
I read Amber's post this morning. You can tell she is overwhelmed but this is just another bump in the road for her. She's one tough gal. Praying for a Speedy Recovery for her :)
Love the way you put that...admiring God's confidence in Amber. Guess that He knows all that He is capable of doing as you all continue to trust Him. Those quads are adorable...such fun and delightful personalities. Still loving that table Mike made! Hang in there, everybody.

Hi Linda! This is my first time visiting and I have to say your grands are simply adorable! You are so fortunate to have such a beautiful family, but I'm sure you know that. I found you through Cozy Little House and will be stopping by for more cuteness :).
ReplyDeleteI also want to recommend you install Askimet. It is excellent at preventing spam, which it seems you have about 5 spam comments on this thread alone! To the poster that said you don't need to add pics, I agree, but spammers don't read posts, much less look at any pics, so you have to ignore everything they say. I've been blogging for nearly a year, and Askimet has stopped hundreds of spam comments. In fact, none have made it through to my blog post! Pretty impressive I think.
If you need any help let me know. Have a wonderful day!
I am so glad that your daughter came through the surgery ok and is now on the mend again. I disabled anonymous comments on my blog to get rid of the spam as well as the internet trolls. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeletePriceless moments. Memories to keep in heart at all times
ReplyDeleteThe pics you get of these kids are just so sweet. You and Grandad are doing a great job and I know your daughter and husband appreciate you so much. Praying for her quick recovery and really like the comment about God's confidence in her ... But really all of you.
ReplyDeleteI'll vote for that table as the #1 Quad table as well! Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that Amber had to go for surgery...yet again. Wishing her a full and quick recovery...and energy to meet all the demands. Blessings to you as you are there for her.
Best wishes for Amber's recovery, you all have such a lot on your plates at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThose children get more adorable every day!
My goodness, Linda! Talk about jumping in with both feet! I went over to Amber's blog. I was sorry to hear that she had complications from her surgery. Bless her heart. She is such a trooper.
ReplyDeleteThe babes are so cute as they move about.
Amber's post mentioned that they are moving! Wow!
As always you and your beautiful and amazing family are in my prayers!

Every time I see those sweet babies I am reminded of just how far they have come to be the chubby, healthy quads they are today. I can't imagine how Amber is emotionally handling all the changes & surgery going on in her life, but she is obviously one STRONG woman. Hope she is soon back to full health and stamina. Praying for her this evening.
ReplyDeleteYour grands are growing up so fast..that is a great table! Another surgery for Amber..she is a busy lady:)
ReplyDeleteI love that new table Mike built for the babies. That's awesome! Every one with multiples should have one of those! So sorry to hear that Amber is back in the hospital. I hope she recovers soon.
